and i cant get them to go into one album folder.

fucking gay. why cant it just control like windows media player, so much fucking easier.

I'm partial to Winamp, but since i use two iPods I'm kinda stuck using iTunes. I use the iTunes store to preview songs I will eventually "buy", and that's about it. I've bought a few songs and a few albums off iTunes, but I'm generally not impressed, due to the fact you can't burn purchased tracks onto and MP3 or data CD, only an Audio.

Using limewire is stupid they can track your IP. Bittorrent or fail. I use Foobar2000 + windows explorer for my music, but I already have everything nicely organized.

Winamp > everything else. You can use an iPod with Winamp, at least I do, but I think I had to download something for that to work, but I don't remember. Love the ability to skin it as well.

well, im a bit weird compared to people nowadays,
i actually purchase cd's. yeah, i buy my music. lol.

i dont pirate. im just trying to put my cd's on this damned ipod.
but alas, it just frustrates me.

Even if you don't pirate music, Winamp is a great program to use. I'd recommend against EVER buying iTunes music because you can't do anything with it. If you want it just pony up and buy the CD or find a friend that has the CD.

Like I said, use that plug-in for Windows Media Player for your music that way your music stays organized and you use WMP with your iPod

You mine as well be wearing a big sign on your back that says hey look at me I steal music. Bearshare, Limeire, Kazaa, etc...... guaranteed to get you nabbed for music pirating.

And I agree 100% w/ B. creative zen's kick ass

As far as music and keeping a nice organized catalog, winamp w/ album list plugin is pretty damn good.
If your using Linux Amarok > itunes any day, also as of Amarok2 it will also work with windows

Are you really that naïve? The whole purpose of the IP is to keep track of things. You can be tracked no matter what. Don't believe me? Go directly to jail, do not pass go, do become brian's celly.

where can i downlaod free music???

On the internets. Or so I've been told.

 The purpose of an IP is to give your computer a specific number sequence based on where you connect to the internet so traffic can be routed to you. It's not designed to track you although it can be used in such a way.

The reason Limewire is stupid is because it's not encrypted, people can tell what you're downloading. On the other hand, if you use encrypted bit torrent, outside connections can't tell what kind of traffic is going to your machine. The only people who know what you're trafficking are the people you're currently seeding to, or leeching from.

Please try again to understand how the internet works. kthxbye ^_^

Uh, what? How does the server know which open socket to use to send data? It keeps track of them. The very premise of an IP address is to make it easier to keep track of open connections. Now please kindly go back to your CCNA class.

You're right, I'll try to be better next time. Now let me get back to my real job.
