im sure there is but i dont think i would rev a h22a that high
im willing to bet its stockummm i told him i would look...lol
i was just wondering.
and i never said the ENGINE WAS STOCK
the ecu/p13
Chips like that are garbage. All they do is raise the rev limit and dump more fuel and advance the timing. Yeah, you might notice a little bit more "oomph" but you're also going to be hurting your motor.
If your friend is willing to spend the money on Skunk2 stuff and machine work, then why is he wanting to cheap out on tuning? What he needs to do is pick up a P28, have it chipped and loaded with an H22 map, and then take it to a reputable dyno tuner and have them do a custom tune for him. He'll get way more power that way and it will be much more reliable and safe for his motor than just running some junk E-Bay chip that will probably cause detonation eventually...
Oh, and FYI, the P72 will work, yeah, but it's not really ideal. The P72 is meant to operate a 1.8 liter engine. Why would you want it running a 2.2? The fuel injection is probably going to be off from where it should be...
he wants to chip the p13 just to rev it a little more not gain power. i mean he's going to toss the p13 anyway. after he gets another ecu.
like i said before thanks anyways and who cares if he fucks it up? he has the money to fix it is not like a major loss to him.
its his motor maybe he wants to push an h22 to the max limits?
