Yes 96-00 parts are for the most part the same, except for the si model (b-series engine).
Yes all b series exhaust manifolds should work as well. There could be a fittment issue for b16 manifolds on b18's because the b18 block is a little taller.

well i need a new bumper and this guy at the part store was convinced tht only 99-00 parts worked together n nothing from 96 up would work for my car.

aout the fitting of the series i was buyin exhaust for my civic but its got a dx motor n the guy said it wouldnt fit on my car n i was confused as hell cuz i thought d seies n shit fit together

the motor stuff will be the same but body parts and stuff you need to stick to 99-00 because there different from 96-98
