I dont like the look of the engine in the car
:search:Im getting a 2000 si coupe and i wanted to get feedback from people on what the best swap would be! I want an all out motor, (NA). Right now im thinking a b20b ls block with a b16a head.
you're an idiot.I dont like the look of the engine in the car!
You just ruined any type of credibility right here. That's by far the stupidest thing I've heard in a while.
I can understand the lack of funds, but you have to be a complete moron to not put an engine with the most potential in your car because you don't like the way it looks.
You asked for the best swap, I told you what the best swap was, it;s not economical. Next best would be a GSR or Type R.
But I'm done cause that comment makes you retarded.

Why strive for an all-motor Civic? Just boost the damn thing. A lot more cost effective if you want something fast...
Yes i said i wanted feedback on what the best swap would be, i guess i should have been more specific, By best i mean easiest to do, most cost effective, and most power, and best looking, If i wanted the fastest car i put a fuckin zr1 engine in it!
Ya i feel ya there! Idk? Were im at everyone has a turbo pushing around 350hp, I want something different, plus ive seen 300hp NA civs waste 600hp+ turbod cars on the strip.
and if i was going for the best i wouldnt care if it was gsr, or type r because if i built it, which i would, it wouldnt matter what it was, the only difference really in type r are the internals, which i would change anyway, so whats the point. I really dont know why people have to be so oppinionated and want to diss on someone who might not like the look of an engine!
i read it and would have suggested just slapping on a turbo, but i was so annoyed i couldn't put together a productive response.IMy vote to your question goes to "B16" because all that would require is you pulling the stock engine out and then dropping it right back in. I don't know if anyone else caught that, but that was something else that sent up a red flag to me that you haven't done any research.
