that algae breaks down CO2 and releases pure oxygen?
and that its fully possible for factories and plants with co2 waste can pump it through tanks of algae thereby only releasing oxygen into the air.
and once the algae dies, it can be processed into ethanol. and it can be used as fuel.
seriously, only one factory in the country is doing this, in arizona i believe.
im pretty sure it would be expensive as hell but once you get things set up and start turning algae into fuel, costs can be made up.
this is what i think should happen:
oil companies should be taken over by somebody with common sense, and prices be lowered in order to keep this pending "recession/depression" from occuring.
companies with co2 waste should be forced to switch to the algae filtration system
this would bring about many new jobs to build, run, and maintain these algae systems.
then when gas does start becoming a rare item, we may have another fuel to lean on.
also more companies would be opening more positions to build parts to convert older cars to e85.
Or am i missing something important?
im pretty sure with the minds that are on this board this idea could be shot down.
i was just thinking about it.
