Do work
Figured I'd post a few shots of the Santa Fe, after realizing I haven't.
'03, just hit 42k yesterday.
Mods:
Front windows tinted, matched to factory rear's
2 PB 10" w/ 600w PB amp and an ebay 1.5 farad cap, raptor wiring kit, all connected to the stock headunit through the low pass xover thing that ran me a whopping $15.
Custom dusty engine bay

Looks good, I gotta get the windows tinted on my Jeep. Then a lift, then a system.

Looks pretty nice. How's the gas mileage?
Eh, it's mileage lol. I get about 15-17 city, but about 30 highway, which is nice. Too bad I almost never drive on the highway.

It's not a Civic, but it's nice. How do you like that audio setup?
I honestly love it, with the exception that I have to control the bass from my subs with the bass feature on my stock headunit, which also controls the speaker bass. I plan on getting the remote bass, but haven't yet. That way, I'll run the speakers a minimal and be able to control the subs separately.

The only other things I really want to do are to get the billet grilles for it, to add a little bit of customization, and get my hands on a set of the '08 18"s, as apposed to my 16"s

I like it. Hyundai is gaining some respect in my eyes, seems like the quality is starting to increase. I know that the older Elantra's are not as reliable as Hyundai seems to claim. A friend of mine has one, and he always has problems, and with only 64,000 miles.

My mom had an old, old hyundai, like when they first came out. She said they sucked lol. Big time. But she also commented on their rising reliability, though she has only owned a lot of fords and a saturn and shit recently. I'll post a pic of her truck sometime.

hynduai has def stepped up their game in recent years.

i'd buy one before a chevy/ford/saturn/chrysler/vw of equal class/platform

The only problem I've had so far is that I like to drive it too much. :(

Winter is really nice though, with it's automatic 4WD
All around disks is nice too

You have a bike now. You'll stop caring about cars completely in a few weeks.

I drove the Santa Fe last night for the first time since Saturday afternoon and it felt so akward, and I wished I was back on the bike lol.

Yeah, I mean I KNOW you need this for winter, but next winter is going to be the WORST winter you have ever had.

Sorry, not to bring back a dying thread, but CEL, it's not even winter yet and it's already the worst so far lol. Night's are getting ridiculously cold.

Really? Someone on this forum was dumb enough to buy a fucking HYUNDAI??

Its a cheap piece of shit!

I was looking at the 2008 Hyundai Accent hatch for a while....I don't think they're so bad.
