Im Jon. Im 18 and you prolly dont care. more interested in the car. eh. 1990 integra that has a fully built top end. crower cams, retainers daul valve springs. the motor is good up to 9500 rpms. i havent dynoed it yet. but has to be making about 175 to the wheels atleast. when we put the motor together we didnt torque down a head stud fully and blew the head gasket. just got my new 82mm cosmetic head gasket in and the motor is currently apart. taking the head to a machine shop to make sure all is striaght and to have cleaned. i did look at the pistons tonight and the car was running pretty rich. time for a wideband and tune. i also noticed cylinder 2 has a bit of scuffage and thats why i was burning some oil. im wanting to possibly bore the motor out more and get new sleeves. what is the best manufactor for this. wanting a 84mm bore. about how much hp would i gain, is it worth the money?

in the long run i want a strong motor with a turbo kit only putting out like 10 psi. in the meantime look at the pics. :)

Looks pretty nice! I like it!

What are those rims?

not sure. there a buddies rims. ill ask him tomorrow. and thanks for all the comments. anyone know if it would be worth it to buy another block and have it sleeved with 84mm bore. or should i just suck it up and keep burning some oil here and there.

ok how much hp are you looking for thats the real question but in the long run with a turbo sleeves are better i would go with eagle sleeves run you about 900

after getting it sleeved and turbo i would like to be over 400 hp. wanting to get it sleeved over winter this year.

You do not need sleeves for 400 whp. 500+, yes... 450 - .... no.

well im burning a bit of oil and i figured just get it sleeved and i wont have to worry about the oil. i rather have it done for future add ons just in case. plus im going to have to buy lower compression pistons so i might as well do it all at once. my goal is 450 or so but would like to be over 400 atleast. on another note my aem wideband and fidanza flywheel just came in so im pretty stoked to get those in.

Did you just weld beads all around the edges of the valve cover? That looks pretty freakin' sweet...

i should have the car back together and running by next weekend. atleast thats the plan. im stoked cause ill have the block mound and motor mount swap from the 90-93 version to the 94-01 so i can use my sweet new ingalls torque damper. and i will have in a fidanza lightweight flywheel. all new stereo. (will upload pics momentarly) rear strut tower bar. rims are on the back of a ups truck right now and should be here in time. and my rear tokicko struts were blown so i got new kyb struts so no more bouncy. should feel like a whole new car.

went from a 4 inch speaker to a 6.5 inch component. very easy to get in there. take off the plastic peice the holds the 4 incher and cut out the back and put the bracket on backwards of how it came off and wam it holds a 6.5 inch.

I have a 93 integra with a dual cam vtec motor when i rev it up or change gears at a low rpm and put the pedal to the floor i get a ticking sound. I looked under the car by the timing belt and altinatior theres a plug with nothing pluged into it what is this plug? And what could the ticking be?

i need help i got a 91 civic hatch i just did a b18b1 motor swap and i need to know where the three wires from the map sensor plug goes to the ecu ex.(green-d17 blue-d21 black-d4) these are not the actual colors or numbers just givin an example please help i want to run this car soon but cant without it runnin correctly thanks

The cylinder bore size has nothing to do with oil burning. Valve seals/pistons rings are usually what causes oil to burn.

if your motor is a obd2 it could be the crankshaft position Censor. is that plug in the timing belt cover or in the chasis of the car?
