Here's Oregon's, we had great weather. Blount is who we found in JUCO to replace Stewart, and that Chris Harper kid is an early enrollee who will graduate Highschool next month, not bad for being so young, remind anyone of Tebow?

i don't really have a favorite college team. sucks that stewart went to carolina, a rival nfc team of the seahawks.

heard the UW game sucked pretty bad. who knows though.

heres OU im not to sure bout this no huddle thing stoops got going on
Oklahoma

The no-huddle and Sam Bradford: Bradford led the nation in passing efficiency last season and only threw eight interceptions. That's why his three-interception performance in the spring game opened a few eyes, and might get fans wondering if the new no-huddle offense will hurt what was an already effective air attack. Whatever. Call it working the kinks out as the offense clicked throughout spring ball and should make the already great Bradford even more of a Heisman candidate. Backup Joey Halzle had an up-and-down spring throwing for 177 yards in one scrimmage and completing 1 of 13 passes in another. Keith Nichol was also inconsistent, but overall he was fine.
Who will Bradford throw to? Jermaine Gresham, Jermaine Gresham and Jermaine Gresham. Wisconsin's Travis Beckum will have a lot to say about it, but Gresham might be the favorite for the Mackey Award. The 6-5, 265-pound junior caught 37 passes last season, with 11 going for scores, highlighted by a four-touchdown day against Texas A&M. He caught a 51-yard touchdown pass in the spring game and should be the go-to target, even though Juaquin Iglesias is back and ready to be a No. 1 receiver. The secondary will be a problem, right? Wrong. Reggie Smith, D.J. Wolfe, and Marcus Walker are gone and Nic Harris was out this spring with a shoulder problem ... and the secondary looked better than ever. Granted, the offense was trying to work the kinks out of the new no-huddle attack, but the defensive backs dominated at times. With Harris and senior Lendy Holmes, the secondary isn't starting from scratch. Sophomore Dominique Franks emerged as OU's next superstar corner with three picks in the spring game coming after a great spring session. Sam Proctor should grow into the rotation at one of the safety spots, and corner Brian Jackson had some big moments.

Oregon has run a no Huddle for a few years now, but it's only as good as your QB's ability to read defenses and hot route.

One of the advantages is good defenses will sub out personnel according to down and field position. The no huddle approach doesn't allow them too and that's how we beat USC last year.

did dixon get drafted?

without dixon how well you think the new Qb will hold up with it?

Good question, it's actually more of a non issue then you'd think.

Now obviously natural talents like Dixon aren't just hanging out on your depth chart, we picked up a couple good kids in Harper and Thomas that have as much if not more natural ability then Dixon did. Dixon wasn't so hot until Chip Kelly came around (offensive coordinator AND QB coach), so I credit at least a portion of Dixon's success to Chip.

But you didn't ask that

As for next year the starter will be Nathan Costa (Redshirt Soph). He's the first starting QB (unless you count Roper who was a freshman and last resort last year) who came to Oregon after the current system was in place. He's a smart Qb, he reads defenses really well and that's especially important for no huddle (that's why it's called the read option).

Skill set wise he's probably somewhere between Kellen Clemens (who now plays for the NY Jet's) and Colt Brennen. If I were Chip I'd use his interior passing abilities to get the ball to Wr Jasion Williams who's like 6'4 and 240lbs.

If you care to see here's Costa (#7) in his senior year,

5th round, Steelers
can you say "kordell stewart"???

hahaha, i bet they said that several times on draft day.

roadburger is a chump and shouldn't start for too long before dixon at least gets a chance to run a little.

do you remember mike bush from wazzu? receiver from when they won the rose bowl. he's on my football team this year. that dude is fucking tough to cover.
