what up honda swap homies, been gone awhile and decided to pick up a new project/family hauler/dd.

Its a 1996 Honda Civic DX, started as an automatic and emerald green, i have done a few things, however i am on workers comp right now so the progress slowed down. But here you go, enjoy the ride.

Engine: LS swap, Hasport mounts,(swapped for more dd friendly mounts) AEM intake,(now pwjdm power chamber) new clutch, new flywheel, less then 80k on the ls. Megan full exhaust.
Suspension: Koni Full coilovers with progressive wound springs and adjustable rebound. drag dr16's. skunk2 adjustable upper control arms. all new bushings, bolts, studs, and anything else to do with the suspension replaced. fully corner weighted and balanced. strut bars and tie bars.
Exterior: 99-00 front end, 100% rust free. 99-00 mirrors. depo jdm fogs. mugen replica front lip.
Interior: cd player, ls leather front seats, leather rear seats. Integra shift knob. crv gauge cluster.
Extras: b16 fully rebuilt head. 99-00 rear suspension assmbly incluiding rotors and calipers.

i had bought a greddy front lip, but i took out an f150 exhaust on the way home from work so that went bye bye.

Ouch, that sucks, I had one on my EG and I let my mom drive it around the corner to the grocery store, and it came back dragging the ground.:(
 
Was that last Sunday? I wanted to go so bad, but my car was lacking a radiator and axles. I was so pissed, there is another one in August that I will damn sure be ready for.

no it was the thursday of easter weekend. oh and thanks on the wheels.
stripped the a/c and power steering unit, turned the power steering into a recuirculating unit to keep the rack lubed.

why the hell would you remove the ps and ac?
 
picked up some discounts from a few places so i am rocking decals even though i am not a huge fan of stickers/decals. main plan is to have a clean dd/ show car. when i can i will update, be patient this one will take longer than the crx now that i am a home owner and have two kids. its nice to start a fresh build. comments and questions welcome.

And be careful with the Mugen replica lip. It'll break just as easily as the other one. I know this from personal experience...

You should swap in a manual rack it would clean it up so much better, and make it easier to steer, you still have to move all that dead fluid. (when turning the wheel I mean)
 
why the hell would you remove the ps and ac?

didnt completely remove the ps, with a breather in the line its just like having ps without the pump, there is an article on honda tech that i followed for it.

as for the ac there were components that didnt work, meaning most of it so untill i get time to go get or order the parts then its staying out, guess i should of explained why i did it.

So if you car doesnt have a/c and p/s from the factory does that mean it comes with an extra 2351451hp from the factory?:lolhammer:

of course it does....thats why people like civic cx's and shit with no options at all. they think the extra 70 pounds all that stuff adds is like an extra 4 seconds on a 1/4 mile time with their stock d15.
 
Nice 4 door. I've got the same seats you do. So much better than the stock seats.
 
i skimmed through but didnt see anything about this...

you said it's a B16, fully rebuilt head. is that a B18B head, or just the valve cover? that's the only thing throwin me off

gotta tuck that red wire in the bay (i'm guessing fog light power wire).

other wise looks real good. i'd be proud to rock that 4 door. very clean, FTW ^_^
