what could happen if someone put diesel in a regular gas car engine? the reason why i'm asking is bcuz my brother has a scion tc, he let his gf drive the car, the stupid brainless bitch put diesel in it, and now the car wont start....would an engine/fuel tank flush be enough to get it up and running again? lol

you will have to completely drain the tank and the whole system and flush it all out

Wtf? Thats the stupidest fucking thing I've heard in my whole life.
One time there was this lady at Shell who was too impatient to wait for a pump. The pump next to the one I was using was diesel only. She said 'excuse me. what is diesel gasoline?' I said 'it's not gasoline. it's diesel fuel. It's mainly for those big 18 wheelers. You don't wanna put that shit in your car' she says 'ah fuck it' and puts her credit card in. At that point, I stopped helping her. You wanna be that stupid after someone has warned you, you deserve to get the end result. I didn't stick around to watch her try and start it though... She was driving a Lexus RX330... poor car...

Yep, a complete fuel system flush should do the trick. But his gf must have some type of retardation, not only cause she's probably ridden to the gas station with her bf in that car but diesel is also considerably more expensive, a least around here it is.

Wow....I'm speechless. I'd wait an entire day at the pumps instead of using diesel. Either that or drive to another gas station cuz chances are I've still got some milage, being a CRX and all lol.

"his gf must have some type of retardation" ahahhahahahha LLLMMAOOOO!!!! I believe she does. no joke, but u cant really blame a korean girl that has been in this country for only 8 years (lol) n just got her drivers license.

... and yeah diesel is about an extra $0.80-1.10 around here ......lol i still cant believe this shit

My friend's wife was filling up one day she put 87 in her or what she thought was 87. It ended up that the gas station had put diesel into the regular gas. She made it a few miles and her car died. Luckily the gas station paid for her car to be fixed and a few free fill ups.

Wait, he let an asian drive his car? Even more, an asian who just got her license? Am I missing something here?

Back on topic:

pump the tank, using the stock fuel pump. Just disconnect the fuel rail after releasing pressure, then get some 3/4" hose, and run it to a 20 gal drum. Jumper the fuel pump relay using either a test-lead, or a relay modified to do this job (paper clips also work, just don't forget that it'll get hot.) Pump all out that the fuel pump will get, then put 2gal of gasoline in it, and pump that out. then disconnect everything, and put the lowest grade fuel you can find in it. Replace the fuel filters. Put some 87 in it, and call it a day. After running a tank of 87, go back to using premium. (If that's what your car asks for, if not, keep using regular.) Then take the keys away from the girlfriend, and kick her stupid ass, because she had to fight to get the diesel nozzle into the gasoline car's fillup port. They're bigger for a reason.
