my RSX S dont want to start some time like if it dint have gas... my uncle told me is the fuel injection but i put in gas tank LUCAS fuel injector clening but it has been 4 day and this morning did it again ???:wtf:

if it takes that long for it to start it sounds like the fuel pump might be trying to go out

what i mean if its taking that long to start you having a fuel or spark problem,

you sure are having a lot of problems with this car, if you here the fuel pump come on when you turn the key on its prolly fine. do you have any check engine lights on

hey i was thinking . maybe is because the guy that had it, he use to put premium gas. and now im puting regular because the price is to high... maybe is that because i ask him if it use to do it when he had it and he told me no....

I agree. You dont want some shitty gas with a high compression NA motor like that. Switch over to some premium and see if that helps any. You can rule that out as a problem untill you take care of that.

Heh. My car ran like shit when I got it, because my dad filled the tank with regular before he gave it to me.

Switch to premium, and/or flush the tank before you detonate and break a rod.

That engine is designed for 87 octane pump gas, running premium isnt going to affect its starting. Your problem isnt a fuel pump. How often do you see type-s' needing a fuel pump/sending unit? Never, especially from factory. Your problem is most likely a starting/charging system issue. Also, make sure your plugs are at the correct gap and that the spark plugs are snug in place and not loose.

also make sure u got a decent igintor throwin out some good spark my da is acting the same way ur car is sounding its my Dizzy, and if u do need to changed the fuel pump..all i say is good luck when my walbro went out on my ass it was a funny 4hrs of work (no jacks to help)....but good luck

the k20a2 motor was not meant for 87, it needs 93 or better

no gas is cheap even 87 but id rather pay the extra than mess my car up
