I have a 22mm dia rear sway bar, so what size front sway bar would yield the most predictable neutral handling ?

Thanks.

ya I guess,

is there a size you would recommend or maybe just some rough guidelines? is a 1mm difference in sway bar diameter noticable in handling?

most of the choices I've seen are

19mm?
22mm?
25mm? too big?

Thanks,

yep.. in a Honda you want a stiffer rear bar to create more oversteer.. well, actually less understeer..

/yeam the 19 would be my recommendation also. But be careful driving with just the upgraded rear bar, you will oversteer.

hey thanks all, great info.

Just outta curiosity though, why does the JDM ITR have a 25mm front bar and a 23mm rear bar? does it have something to do with the longer wheelbase of the integra's?

it has more to do with the fact that even the type Rs are setup for understeer because the average person doesnt know how to drive an oversteering FF.

Thanks, I'll just wait till I can install the front 19mm bar then, before installing the rear 22mm bar since my hatch has no front bar right now.

I've already got the Shocks/Springs and Brakes upgraded, so I'm looking forward to seeing what these sway bars will be like.

The ST front bar says its for the 92-95 civic coupe......I assume that there is no difference between the front bar on the coupe and the front bar on the hatch right?
