I have everything I need except rear brake hoses.

I know you can use the 99-00 si hoses, could I use integra rear brake hoses?
There is an insane amount of integras in the local junkyard and I was wondering if I could use those cause I can get them for cheap.
This is on a 97 EX coupe.

Thanks

They are different, in length. Are you talking about the soft line from the hard line to the caliper?

Yea.
If the integra ones would work I can just get them from the junkyard when I go today.

If I can't get them from the junkyard I'll get back to you.
Lol.

But does anyone know if the integra lines will work?

I'm just going to get the integra brake hoses.
hell if they don't work then I'm not out much.
Might even be able to get them for free.

i did the swap on my 89 ef and the integra ones were to short I had to get Goodrich brake lines off a 92-95 with disc brakes there longer and the mounting brakets on the lines are adjustable wich the stocks are not made it so much easier

Just got both brake cables all the bolts and brackets and 2 brake hoses for $15

man i love the mexican junkyard

Ok started on my rear disc conversion yesterday, started out fun but got kinda troublesome.
The bolts that hold the spindle on (torx bolts) rounded off, so my buddies and I took the trailing arms off the car. Luckily we have 2 milling machines so it made drilling out the bolts easy.
We re-tapped the holes, everythings good. The trailing arms are re-installed and everything bolted and torqued.

I have all the brake lines and hoses ran, still need to install the proportioning valve and get some pads. Ment to get them yesterday but it was 9:00 before I knew it, so advance was closed.
Going to get them when I get out of school today and get paint for my calipers (since they came painted a horrible orange color.)

Will post up pics when I'm done.

niice man. much faster than my rear disc conversion of my 00 coupe....

but i'm doin more, and i'm basicly a noob. heh ;)

we have the same creeper.
lol

looks good.
Lot of work too.

I found a problem yesterday, the prop. valve is the wrong one, went to the junkyard to see if I could find one, no luck.
So my car isn't drivable until I get a new one.
This sucks.

I thought about it, but I'd rather get a prop. valve thats already proportioned correctly.

My research on Prop valves have came up with this
Prop valves that are the same as the 99-00 SI(will work with rear disks)
99-00 SI
96-00 2 Door DX
96-00 3 Door DX
96-00 2 Door HX
96-00 3 Door CX

Prop valves that are NOT the same as the 99-00 SI(will NOT work with rear disks)
96-00 4 Door EX(With or without ABS)
96-00 2 Door EX
96-00 4 Door DX
96-00 4 Door LX A/C
96-00 4 Door LX ABS

If anyone has anything to add to this just post it up and I will change it.
This is looking up part numbers and matching them with the SI part number.
