You drinking the Kool-Aid early eh? The high flow cat I bought a year ago is 50 state legal and will pass SMOG in CA, so how is it that it is not a real catalytic converter?

Show me a picture of it, I've never heard of a high flow cat that was legal in cali. The obx one I have for my talon is supposed to be but if you call obx they will tell you to check with the "authorities" in cali. It didn't pass emissions in va- I put in a stock one and it passed right away.

Magnaflow makes one 49 state legal except for CA. The 50 state legal high flow catalytic converter I bought was from E-SHIFTPERFORMANCE, a local tuner shop in my area and personal friend. They actually make these catalytic converters in house and they are all 50 state legal including CA.
