6 Favorite I'm wakin up where I fall, I hope... : The last thing I brewed

*Recently did a blind tasting of a bunch of BMC and apparently I prefered Icehouse over many others. But everyone else ranked it last...I did drink first so it would have been coldest. I only judged on which had the least "flavor" because most are rampant with the DMS/cooked vegetable off-flavor (not proper like some of the euro pils).

I've got a True Brew Pale Ale fermenting as we speak. First try and I'm gonna sick it on my inlaws when they come by in June...
All I've got right now is about 3 gallons of a 30 Shilling Scotch recipe I made that was aged on oak chips. Too bad the roomate with the CO2 left...so it'll sit till fall.

Manlaw comes to mind when I think of that.

Also they hvae the "clamato" kind as well.

I had this beer in Montenegro called Nik, damn the shit was good.

What a travesty. We got tax free when the ship pulled in cause old Yugoslavia is still considered a hot spot (at least in 07). The damn liberty barge that brough us back and forth had a bar on board. Man I have never been so drunk on a port visit, and it was a liberty port too. I was real polite though. You have no idea who might have been filling mass graves over there not too long ago..

I had some weird beer in Ghana as well but it was in some pitcher. At that point though I didn't give a fuck what I was drinking...

Which Nik did you have? Cool? Gold?

I used to have a case of Niksicko Pivo. We call that stuff "Slobodan". Its a very interesting Euro lager - I still want to try the Tamno (dark lager).
