MGT 499 - Strategic Management
FIN 310 - Investments
BUS 498 - Interdisciplinary Business Seminar
ACC 202 - Managerial Accounting
I just completed a research paper for investments and I have a cumulative final the first week of May.
Interdisciplinary business, I have develop an hour and half presentation for Midwest Air Group, detailing my position on future growth and petitioning a bank, in today's tightened credit market, for a $500 million loan. There's a 30page paper to go along with the presentation.
Strategic Management. This coming Friday I have to put on a second group presentation. I chose to analyze BMW including their corporate, business, and functional strategies. I conducted an external PEST analysis as well as an internal analysis to complete a SWOT analysis. This is the second presentation we're putting on and it should last about two hours, but it should be easier the second time around - we set the standard for the first round of presentations.
Managerial Accounting. I have to complete this semester long accounting project on a construction company and take the final. Classes ended early because we completed the course material faster than anticipated.
All in all, I've had what was for me a semester of hell. I've only gone out a handful of times and most nights are spent in doing work or with the girlfriend, but normally doing work while the girlfriend is here. Its my last semester and I'm just glad that its unwinding without as huge of a crunch as during the semester. One week I only slept a handful of hours as I had two projects, the two hour presentation, a paper, quiz, and two tests. I think my professors decided that would be a funny week to make or break my semester.
