Go to myautoevents.com and check out the info on the midland season closer on 9/21. I will be there. Last year, I went to this one and had alot of fun. It is on an airport so the track is really fast. It was my first autoX, had stock everything (all season tires) and it was raining out and I got the car up to third gear. That never happens in an autoX.
If your interested, post here Correction, the autox is on the 21st not the 20th. They changed the date from the last time I checked

if only you were talking Midland MN....
I hope to make a few autoX events next summer, I'm not sure what class I'd end up in because of my swap... but I know I wouldn't be winning in any class right now anyway, it's just fun driving
