i have a 90 modle accord with the 2.2 and i was wandering what is the best motor to replace it with without any modifications

Any swap requires some degree of modification. To me h22 is the way to go, look for a 92-96 h22 motor.

I don't think there is anything different with the 92 h22's

I'm sure you cut off the years at 95 so he can stay obd-1 but what's wrong with the 92's?

i was more talking about the obd but i think the h22a didnt come out until 93

So how does that stop him from getting a 92? That's like telling someone with a CRX they can only get a 94+ (could be 93, i forget...) B16 since the B16 wasn't offered in the US till then...

ok well to clear up the confusion if you get a jdm h22a get a 92-95 if you get a usdm get a 93-95.

Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Wauwatosa WI Age: 15 Posts: 555 iTrader: 0 / 0% Ride: 91 accrod DX with a few extras : ) Rep Power: 0	lol tech so smart( my idol) lol __________________ heres my mod. list -painted valve cover -new headers -new high flow obx resonator -new carbon fiber exaust tip -new p.s pump -new radiator -new belt -new injen ram intake -new strut bar -new deck (installed myself) -new speakers -not bad for learning as i went and not having shit for help besides u great guys i think thats around all i did, tok a few months but im happy with it! and after all that theres a small puddle of oil under my intake on my engine..... the fun never ends!
