My brother wants a CL tranny in his 98 accord....i'm telling him it won't work...will it?

Accord V6?

It might work.....those engines are similar. But I couldn't even begin to know what would be required to make it work.

I remember hearing about people bolting manual Legend trannies to older V6 Accords.

There were 2.2 and 2.3L CLs also- those might work on the 2.2-2.3L Accords.

Does he want the tiptronic shifter, or a manual? It might bolt up, but the computer stuff would be a mess without help. I don't know anything about them for sure.

what year and motor is the accord, also what year and motor would the tranny come from

Acura Cl tranny in 98 accord?
