I just purchase a Accord Euro-R Intake Manifold. I know this intake manifold is specifically designed to fit a Accord Euro-R cylinder head (F20B). The intake manifold also can be successfully fitted to a H22A cylinder head. But with a few modifications. I'm curious to know, what kind of modifications is need to ensure the proper installation of the Euro-R Intake Manifold?

Um, the H22A is just as good as the F20B, if not better. I wouldn't do any modifications, since there will be no gain. If you want to improve power through modifications, look into port work, cams, throttle body enlargement, an H22A4 intake, or something else worthwhile.

dude this is the accord euro-R were talking about. It is better than the stock h22a manifold. Dyno tests have proven it.

The Euro-R manifold is quite a bit different from the stock H22A manifold. No secondary butterflies, hand-polished runners, etc.
Anyway, there's an awesome write-up over on honda-tech about how to install it. Do a search, you'll find it. The install looks to be quite difficult, though. __________________

Looks like it's similar, but I don't think it's the same. I know for a fact that it's tricky to get the Euro-R manifold to bolt up to a base JDM H22A, while it's quite easy to bolt up a Type-S manifold. ![]() __________________

As I said, do a search over at honda-tech. I know they've got a complete write-up of the install.

I'd let it go for pretty cheap, since it's just been sitting in my house forever. Like $220 shipped or so.

If your not interests in OEM intake manifolds. Skunk2 offers an aftermarket intake manifold. Racingworks.com is offering this H22A intake manifold for $338.40, plus $13.58 ( UPS Ground, US only ) for handling & shipping, and your automatically charged for insurance on the item of purchase. Esitmated price came out to be $362.47
Prelude Type - S, Euro-R, Accord Type - R, or Skunk2 Pick one! __________________

I'de prob. pass on the Euro-R manifold. The Type-S would prob. be a better bet with the matching Type-S throttle body..
Anyone know if the Skunk2 manifold has been released? __________________
