I just dropped a JDM H22A into my 95 lude. Was a fairly easy swap except that the original engine was a H23 and came with a dizzy with external coil. The H22 dizzy has an internal coil. I am using the H23 wiring harness. I tried using the H23 dizzy but engine cranks but doesn't start. I asked the guy I bought the motor from, and he said to use the H22 dizzy. I know there is a way to use the H22 dizzy buy splicing the hot wire from the coil into the dizzy but can someone point me to a guide where this is done? Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I found out how to convert a H23 with external coil to H22 dizzy with internal coil. All you do is cut the yellow wire (hot wire) from the external coil wiring (H23) and splice it to the black/yellow wire which goes to the (+) side of the internal coil for the H22A dizzy. All other wires are not needed.
