Default Info for f22 DOHC

Ok im researchin for my friend and hes plannin to drop swappin in and replacin his sohc with the dohc i dont know what type of accord is it, just know that its 96 just like mine but his tail light are different, i know its not vtec but its not lx either.
How hard would be droppin it in is just a direct bolt on?
How about the engine harness whats needed to be done to it?
Which ECU will work?
And what kind of complication will he run too?
Also i showed him hmotorsonline.com they dont carry the motor but tigerjapanesemotors.com do carry them and are they any good. Or where else is a better place to get the f22 dohc engine

Still dont know where he wants to get the engine from? Does anybody know who sells reliable engines? I bought my own engine from hmotorsonline.com but they dont carry any f series DOHC engines.
I read other coloumns and books like the honda engine swaps and it says to always use the engine harness that came with the car do modify anything to the dx engine harness?
And what about the motor mounts is the same thing do we use the ones out of his accord? Also the mount on the driver side we can use the accord or get the one for a prelude?

on some accords cuz theirs the lx and dx which are not vtec got f22b2 now the ex has vtec the f22b1.
I know dropping in the h22a or f20b will be even easier swap.
But as my self and my friend we own lx and dx. Im goin with the vtec swap but my friend doesn't cuz he doesnt want to worry bout the extra wirin i know theirs a few wires to connect but thats me. But my friend hes not really that patient.
So thats why hes goin with the f22b DOHC, its non vtec easy not that much mods on wiring, i know you need a ECU.
He got this P28 chipped for 78 bucks just needs to tune, he will be lookin for a conversion harness at the ecu cuz his is obd2. But hes worried about the wiring on the engine harness, his car comes SOHC and the engine he wants to switch is DOHC so is their any mods onto the harness? Or is just a thing to like remove the one from the car and connect to the engine is really that simple or not?

it dont matter if one is dohc and the other is sohc the wires are the same, if he goes with a none vtec motor it will drop right in, but in the lonf run he will be kicking him self for not buying the h22a 2 wires big deal

you can just go ahead with h23 head swap pretty easy. I kept a journal on the swap, especially with the mistakes that came up. Dont have the car no more but i do remember exactly what i did, i just did a swap 2 weeks ago on a neighbor to get some fundings. I also did the f22b dohc motor swap pretty straight forward, just get a h23 ecu for the swap and wire up the knock sensor and your set. I gave up the accords cuz too many people tried stealing it and tired of waking up 2 in the morning and doors open. So i went with a miata, boosted at 10lbs hehehehe dont regret switching lightweight and RWD FTW!!

I did a F22b Dohc swap in a 1996 Isuzu Oasis LS RJA aka 1996 Honda Odyssey EX RA1 wich are very similar to an accord wagon lx dx as you know a 96 and up is OBD2 and has a TDC CPK sensors on the oil pump that can be cut and spliced to the obd2 f22b dohc 96-99 (silver valve cover not black) prelude jdm distributor the 4 wires in the center of the harness same colors on both harnesses. Use accord wire harness ecu, ac compressor bracket, throttle body & front water outlet. Use the Prelude motor mount above drivers tire intake manifold injectors fuel rail plenum power steering and alternator bracket exhaust manifold and cut the collector end off the prelude and weld on the accord one right before cat converter . buy a 410k4 ps belt, fabricate or modify accelerator & cruise control cable bracket.C&T engines of Ontario California sells the engine for $500 plus shipping phone # 909 923 5588
