Anyone out there who has done a JDM accord Sir H22A engine swap, was it an easy or difficult task? How much mod is done and how's the wiring?

dohcvtec_accord, myself, and another friend did the exact same swap you are talking about in a weekend in our garage. Mechanically the install is cake. We had some troubles with the wiring because noone would give us a straight answer. If memory serves the only wiring change that is needed is to swap the wires for pins A6 and A11 on the ECU. You an EX so you have all the VTEC wiring.

Chris, did we have to run a wire for a knock sensor?

Yes, we ran a knock sensor, along with the wire for the IAB.

I think he'll have to buy some sort of conversion harness as well, since (I believe) that the SiR H22 only came OBD2.
