I was wondering what type of scan tool to use on a JDM Ecu (P5P). I have tried a Matco Obd scan tool, Honda;s HDS (But need vin), generic scanner. All of them will not communicate with the ECU, I know the Car's interface is wired right because I also have a US P72 and all the scanners will read that. Any Ideas even if I have to get software and possible a usb or data cable to run off a laptop I would Like to monitor the sensors and whether Vtec is engaged.
