This is a discussion on Prelude short shift adapters? in the HYBRID -> BA-BB /CA-CD forum
Since short shifters on cable linkage is differant than regular linkage does it matter what shifter adapter you get? will the ebay $15 one be fine or is the $50 dc sports better somehow. it looks as if all they are is a spacer for ...

| well as you can see in the pic the bracket changes the point where the cable mounts to the shifter in order to reduce the distance the shifter must move in order to change the gear, also just to let you know i dont know from experience but from what ive been told short shifters on cable linkage systems can make for a real "chunky" and not smooth shifting feel. |

| Or, you could just grab 3-4 inches lower on the shifter. That's free. |
