I have a 97 Accord Lx that i want to swap for a H23A1 engine without switching to Manual tranny and i wanted to know which year engine is best for my car as far as OBM1 or OBMII standards,auto tranny, an easy engine swap.This car is intended for street use so does that mean i still have to reinforce the chassis???

P.S. where can I find the best prices on the H23A1 engine and how much am I looking at to install it

You'd probably want to look at an H23 out of a 96 Prelude. It's the only year for an OBD2 H23.

Who told you that you'd have to reinforce the chassis? The H and F series weigh almost the same.
