Is there any other automatic transmission that will swap? Or is there a fix for third gear slippaged problem besides replacement?

I believe you are limited to just a couple of years that had that transmission.

Any "one gear" slippage in an automatic transmission is bad news. Don't even bother yourself with the details. Like the stock engines, the trannies are cheap and abundant. It's cheaper to buy a new one than to troubleshoot and rebuild the old unit.
