Hey,Whats up.Anyways,I wanted to know if D16y7(w/Z6 Head)engine and stock DX 5-speed tranny would be a good choice for a mini me swap.Yay or Nay tell me straight up,Thanks.

Long story short,It's when you put a Vtec head on a non Vtech block.

I was considering putting a vtec head on my d16a1, but was told that it is more money/machining than the power gains are worth. dunno, maybe someone else heard differently.

there is no machine work required in the head swap.
the only modification to the motor/head required is to pull 1 oil squirter out of the block's deck.

type "mini-me" into the search bar, here and on honda-tech. you'll find out everything you need to know.
