I have been looking around the internet for awhile now and i can't seem to find any good write up on 88hf to a b18a1 swaps, i'm basicly looking for all the wire changes that need to be made. If any could tell me or a good link! thanks bob

there is a writeup in the swap articles section...also i have a thread going right now about,ls in ef...just search for "ls already covered"
and whatever you do,,,DO NOT USE EBAY MOUNTS,i bought some and the drivers side mount isnt right,, |

Go with Hasport or Arizona Race billit mounts aint no other mount that can compete with them Avid billit mounts are also an option. |

I bought mounts off ebay (cheapo generic ones) and they worked out just fine. No fitment issues (other than actually getting the engine in the bay) to speak of.

I did a complete rebuild and swap on my customers car which he has 2000 civic Si and he brought me billit innovative mounts and damn those things required me to do some mods to the brackets supplied to make them fit properly and the bolts they supply are worthless not even grade 8 bolts they use grade 5. Other than that they look nice being that they are billit mounts. Cheap mounts creat engine sag and vibration which most people don't even notice but do some research and see whats up. |
