Ok I found an 89 ls short block for cheap!! Now what i was wondering is can i use this for an ls vtec swap because from what i understand is that its only 90-91??

| Well if you are refering to the 89 teg ls that is a 1.6L D series block which is very similar to the JDM ZC. To answer your question NO you can't. The engine code is on the front of theblock right where the block and tranny meet up just under the first exhaust port. If you have a B18 block you can use this for a LSVtec swap |
