average 1/4 mile times for b16a1 crx?

This is a discussion on average 1/4 mile times for b16a1 crx? in the HYBRID -> ED-EF / DA forum
Just curious as to what the average 1/4 mile times are for a Crx(mine's a '91 Si.. so it's the heaviest of them all ) with a b16a1 swap, relativly stock(intake and header only)? Thanks...

There's a lot of factors in all of that, but yesterday I went to the track and saw crx's running from 14.5 to 16.4 that had b16's, and the 14.5 was one of my buddies in a gutted hf, the only thing left inside the car was one seat, the dash, and the shifter.

Thats about what I was figuring.
About the same as a stock mustang(4.6 or a 5.0 with a crappy driver )

Yeah I'm not planning on running a chipped ECU, for that reason exactly.

We'll see how the swap goes, then I can race my bro-n-law and his gs-r.

.. Are you racing a suburban?

Also, to the OP, I would expect high to mid 15s on street tires.
