I have an 89 civic hatch. I was wondering what is the easiest and cheapest b series swap for my application, And what exactly do I need for the swap. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

b16a.cheaper ..this same question has been asked a thousand times on here.
hell i asked the same question a while back and was told just to lok for the info and not wait for it to come to me.

is it possible for a swap without the mount kit?

yeah if you cut and reweld your stock motor mounts.

your gonna have a harder time wiring the motor as well, because you have a Dx, your car is dual point injected. a b16 is multipoint injected.

what i did was went to the junk yard and got the wiring harness out of a si because there multipoint. ( HF's are also multipoint) it didnt take that long to swap eachother out, it was all pretty much plug and play
