I need a parts list for a b18 into 88 hatch swap. I am new at swaping and my wifes whole family are chevy freaks. So I want to show them to quit sleeping on the hatch. So i need an exact parts list for everything i need and instuctions on any fabrication i will have to do.
I tried searching and didnt find anything thats as exact as i need. i will definately appreciated all help. F**K CHEVY |

dude theres no way you couldnt find any info let me know what you need and what kind of b18 you putting in ls or gsr and what obd is the motor the car you have is obd0
so you need to convert over to obd1, u need obd1 ecu for the motor, what trim is the car si/hf, or dx if dx you need to convert to multi point injection you need the cars engine harness you need axles from 91 integra, u need motor mounts, shift linkage tranny for the b series motor(cable) you need to put a dent in the engine compartment below the driver side shock tower where the alt. is gonna be beat a wide space in for pulley clearence there plenty of articles on this swap so look a little harder some people on this site will rebel on helping you if you dont put some effort into finding this info out so make sure you search every where you need to make sure you get some decent deals before you just start buying stuff too so the project doesnt get to expensive, look EVERYWHERE first let me know exactly what you have and what you know about this procedure and ill help you out |

thanks man. I didnt mean that i couldnt find nothing. i just meant that i could not find anything as exact as i need. i will not even start projects unless i know everything about it first.
likke i did not know about dentind the frame under the strut tower. i dont have anything yet. i want to fo with just a LS. so i need to know everything. or just a link to an article that is pretty informative. Thanks for the help |

ok well what trim is the car dx or si? you need the right engine harness i have one with all he connectors youll nees ill sell for 50shipped, you need motot cable tranny shift linkage from 93 integra or adjustable one what i do is cut a three inch chunk out of the linkage and make a sleeve to go over it with bolt on each end so i can adjust it myself saves money, 93 integra axles, gonna need to change the exhust at least the cat if you wanna stay cheap or just punch it out but you need more airflow capability, ecu of course the jumper harness or if you want ill give you the diagram and you can just wire yourself saves money but takes time and you have to do it right or it will cost more time, mounts i might have an extra set for this swap, the o2 sensor from the ls motor ive been just making a list and crosing it out as i get the parts im doing a b18c1 gsr swap into a 88 crx hf, so ive already pretty much found everything almost at least where you live at

B18: Mount kit required Transmission: S1, J1, A1, Y1 or YS1 Shift Linkage: Need adjustable shift linkage from Hasport or shortened shift linkage from 90-93 Integra Axles: B18B Axles Wiring: For Si, EX, and HF (port injection) models modify the engine harness to fit. DX, LX, and Standard (dual point injection) models the wiring needs to be modified for port injection. Custom wiring harnesses are available for dual point injection applications from Hasport. Upper Radiator Hose: 92 GSR, trim to fit Lower Radiator Hose: 90 Integra, trim to fit Throttle Cable: 90 Integra Clutch Cable: Stock Air Conditioning: Use Hasport AC bracket with stock AC compressor. Chassis Prep: Make a dent on the left-hand frame rail for alternator pully clearance. |

Very informative good stuff guys....I am also taking this route in my 88 HB. I'm going to build a B18 LS vtec motor and Boost it crazy! its going to get A port & polished head, crower turbo cams, and the whole nine yards....I am looking to use the Garrett Blowzilla turbo T3 GT40R .70 A/R and .83 A/R Housing with a stage 3 turbine wheel! Unlike ur projects, mine will be no daily driver, Just a weekend warrior at the drag strip.....Im tired of seeing by best friends SRT-4 and my other friends 1st gen talon walk all over my honda! The most important part before your build is deciding which B18 motor you want to use?
