will a stock hood clear a b18b crx swap? if not what hoods will? i bought a fiber images sir style right when i did my swap to be sure, but im thinking of getting another kind.

stock hood will too clear. it wont clear with the gsr motor but with the ls motor it WILLL work. it clears on my car.

i just did a gsr swap and I just had to cut a little webbing from the stock hood and it works fine. use a dremel tool with a cutting wheel; it took me 30 sec.

most aftermarket hoods should work... or just modify yours so it fits.

LS's have a smaller head/valve cover that allows it to drop into an ED chassis.

The GSR and Type R blocks are 9 mm taller than the b16a.
