Hey guys I was wondering if anyone out there has a b16a swaped into there CRX and how it is running in the 1/4 mile, I am not talking about the b16a2 or the USD one, I am talking about the B16a from JDM market, also has anyone who has a b18a give me some input on how their car is running in the 1/4 mile. I am interested in doing a b18a swap for right now and then later ls/vtec, but I could just do a b16a swap then get a ls block later..any inputs guys? |

IMO, I'd do the ls swap now.
its easier to add a head to a block, then it is to pull it all out, build it, and put it all back in again. hell do it all at once. you can build an ls vtec out of a b18a and an sir head/sir tranny for under 2k easily. by the complete ls swap from a junkyard, buy an sir head/im/computer off ebay or the classfieds for 4-600 bucks. sell the ls tranny, buy an sir tranny.. ends up costing you 250 or somethign tops. done. |
