B20Hatch is off the scale
Default

I put a b20z in my 92 hatch and now I'm looking for after market parts. I have a built ls head I want to put on it. I was told that most of the b18 parts fit the b20 but i want to be 100% sure before i start changing things. Thanks for your help.

the ls head and the b20 head are nearly the same so it will bolt on just fine. use a b20 head gasket though.
the rods are the same.
pistons are different due to the 84mm bore of the b20.

i may be new to this board, but i am not new to honda tuning...when you build engines, you use the headgasket for the head.......it makes the most reliability.....if you were supposed to use the one for the block it would be called a blockgasket

When you do a franken engine, you have to use the head gasket for the block you are using.
