I couldn't find any other posts on a CEL Code 43, unless I wasn't looking in the right spot.

I keep getting a CEL once the car is warmed up--Code 43. I have a B20 in my EF. Fuel pump was replaced with swap (LS or CRV pump I believe). Weird thing is, once the CEL comes on, the car seems to run BETTER... More often than not, if I am not getting on it, it will pop the CEL. Hard acceleration seems to keep it off for the most part.

Should I be worried about this? Time for a new pump? Honda won't look at it and nobody else seems to know. Everyone seems to say, "Just replace the pump." If that is the case, which pump to go with becomes the question. I would replace it with the Walbro 255, but if it's nothing that drastic, then I would prefer not to. Taking the tank down to change it the first time was enough of a pain...

I already knew what the engine code was by referring to the reference section. My question wasn't what the code was, it was what should my next action be based on the code I was throwing.

I do know how to reference material.

Code 43 is generally the Oxy sensor being lazy or dead.It's easiest to just replace it than to try and test it. When it dies, the ECU goes into default If you test it, follow the Shop manual and make sure that you use a DIGITAL MULTIMETER ONLY> Analogue ones kill sensors real quick.( I use a Fluke 23)
