I'm in the process of installing a skunk2 intake manifold and TB.
I noticed the later TB's use the map sensor which is mounted on the TB.
Is it as easy as extending my wires and re routing the vac lines? Or do I have to swap a few wires to make it work...I got the intake system for a steal so I'd like to be able to use it....
Thanks,
-Dom

You will need a OBDI throttle body, OBDI MAP sensor, and thats it. Your current MAP wiring should reach just fine, and there is no wire swapping needed.

so doing this would also get rid of the wiring/vacuum lines from the firewall to the TB, right?

can you post of pictures when you're done please?

Can I just use the OBD2 TB with the OBD1 sensors?

most of those vaccum line are emmsions related. Those are your cvs or check vavle egr etc.. cansiter and shit. You could plug them if you are half ass on your work like most people are when swaping motors.
