thanks to much help from this forum ive finally gotten my d15b vtec working in my 89 crx dx.... so far i havent hooked up to the vtec since i bought a cheapo controller on ebay.. anyways...

i am comparing this to a 90 dx i also have...

the d15b vtec motor seems to have a little more torque (minus vtec) but doesnt rev as freely... is this a timing issue or is this just how the vtec motors are when not on the vtec cam? also is there any problem with running it daily without vtec for the time being??
