Default ED7 with ZC intake questions

Hey. I can buy an 89 EF for $1400 with a ZC swap in my area.. and I was wondering what you would buy an intake manifold, or a header for? would you buy them for a D16? would this:
eBay.ca: OBX 4-1 Exhaust Headers 88-91 92-95 96-00 Honda Civic (item 170128566033 end time 12-Jul-07 19:24:59 EDT)
work on a ZC in an EF?
please don't bitch to me about how that's a shitty header.. im BROKE lol

Buy a Megan Racing header. They're cheap and aren't a brand known to break.

DOHC ZC or SOHC ZC?

any D-series header will bolt up to the DOHC ZC head - the DOHC ZC does have the ports in the head raised up about 3mm in relation to the attaching bolts and, in theory, you should grind out the header a little in order to match the ports in the head - we have run them both ways (port matched and not) and find very little difference in how the engine performs - 86-89 Integra header will match the ZC head ports, but doesn't line up with the exhaust correctly - most of the Ebay headers are made to fit 88-00 which means that they are like the 92 & up headers which hang down a little lower on the 88-91 cars

there aren't any intake manifolds (other than 86-89 Integra) that fit the DOHC ZC - we do sell an adapter plate that will permit you to bolt on other D-series SOHC intake manifolds - http://www.zcspeed.com/adapterpage.htm
