Default Mini-me d16a6/y8 wiring info, (vtec & distributor)

Ok, just to clarify, I don't want to convert to obd1 or at least not yet. I already have a 90 civic si and a y8 head. So I'm looking for information on a few things and information on mini-me's is usually all jumbled about on forums it seems.

- Can I use my d16a6 distributor on y8 head without modification (i've been told yes before...)

- I need to know how to engage vtec. I want to engage it with rpm. (I'm under the impression it normally engages by oil pressure. Or what else is the oil pressure switch for?) What pin(s) on the ecu do I need to wire to the solenoid?

- I'm going to chip my ecu. Would turboedit be best to use?

- Which timing belt should I use a6, z6, or y8

-Lastly, I've considered getting a vafc but I'd like to just chip my ecu for now explore all my options except going obd1 for now (budget build) Thanks!!!

A6 dizzys work on y8 heads the z6 require mods. Use TurboEdit.
