well, finally started the motor swap today and find out i have no rear engine bracket. i get one and find out that the bracket will not line up to the s1 tranny and the ls motor. is there a different bracket i schould use? im using hasport mounts.

what car are we speakin about... if its an ED8/9 then you obviouslt arent doing somethig right.
are you 100% sure the bracket came from a 90-93 INTEGRA? __________________

the guy i got the bracket from said it was from a teg. are the years different for the brackets? its not a ls tranny but that schould not be a problem right? and yeah its a 91 crx si

not an LS tranny, what is the trans from? This wouldnt matter as long as it a B series transmission.
Well either way it wouldnt matter - obviously you've been lied to. You need to look for another bracket... this time make sure its from a 90-93 INTEGRA. __________________

humm, he gave it to me and its real close just like a 1/2 in off, but enough to not get the bolt in the top hole.

i did'nt tell him anything i called someone and he called someone and showed up with a bracket. i told the first guy i needed a integra rear engine bracket. is there any other motors with a rear bracket close to the same?

listen to me you need the bracket from a 90-93 INTEGRA. I dont think the bracket of a 94+ integra will work. so call a junk yard and find the damn bracket it shouldnt cost more than $50. I in fact sold Ian (gsrcrxsi) one for $35. So there ya go, theres the answer to your quesiton.
