i got my tranny couple weeks ago but someone took the stamp off it so i have no idea if its a j1,y1 or what is there any way else i can tell what it is exactly?

open it up and check gears but im not sure what you would be looking for.

You would need to know the exact specs on teh gears inside to do this. With no stamp there is no way to know.

I don't think they are stamped--there stickered.

I believe the sticker is gold with black numers and the first letter number combo tell you what kinda of tranny it is (Y1, J1, S1)

I guess I could go look at mine to, but im lazy and for sure someone else can confrim/correct.
