| Greenhorn |  OBD 1 Code 43 (Fuel Supply) - Failing Fuel Pump? Ok, getting the code 43 with a bit of irregular throttle response and have an older 8 year old fuel pump and this is OBD1 b18c into 1991 Civic EX. Would that be the obvious? Guess it could be fuel filter but never had bad fuel or rust in the tank. Think I will go with the Walbro route this weekend for a replacement. The other thing this does is chime the seat belt connector even with those f-ing motorized shoulder harness straps hooked in, any suggestions? |

Rep Power: 0  | I had the same code and it ended up being my exhaust leak. Lol, my O2 sensor was seeing too much oxygen, so it popped that code. I got my exhaust fixed and the code never came back. I would test your fuel pressure, if it's about 36-44 psi then you're good. Then test your O2 sensor. |
