| Member | Quick question..........just finished wiring my swap and ran it without the VTec solenoid wired in....she ran great! But when I added the VTec solenoid (positive signal) it would hit the setpoint and just bog down. I'm using a 5" Autometer monster tach and using the shift light signal to initiate the solenoid for the VTec. Is this normal or do I have the timing off just a hair? I had the setpoint for 4200rpm but the tach doesn't show just right and I think it needs calibrating. Idling it hits around 1100. Am I just set too low since the tach is off by a hair? Thanks for the input! Keep the faith! |
