What's up.I drive a 91 hatch dx.I'm in the process of rebuilding a dohc zc for it,but I was wondering if taking a camshaftand cam gear from another dohc zc and installing it in my 1.5 d15.Would it fit wit hthat timing belt, would it even give me any kind of power. Also how would it affect passing smog
.Any help is appreciated. |

a DOHC ZC cam will not fit in your D15. I believe a SOHC ZC cam will if you have a D15B (which is pretty much the same thing as a ZC). But not a DOHC.

with DOHC engine, you have 2 camshafts, one intake and one exhaust - each camshaft has only lobes on it for either the intake or exhaust valves - the SOHC camshaft has lobes for both intake and exhaust valves
