look at your other post about your swap!! but, if it is the brown top then yes sell it. you can not drop it into your 88 crx hf!! for direct engine swap's then most any D-series engine will be better then what you have!! i.e. D16a6, D16z6, D15b(vtec), D16y8, ect.. now if you want to go with the big boy's the B-series!! they're not a "direct" swap. you'll need mounts, shift linkage, axles, etc.. etc... there plenty of swap guides on this site and on the net. for the B-series swap into a 88-91 crx/civic!! just search it.
