Will Y1 LSD fir on LS trans

This is a discussion on Will Y1 LSD fir on LS trans in the HYBRID -> ED-EF / DA forum
I just want to know if my LSD off a Y1 cable tranny fit on my 93 LS transmission with no modifications, The LS i think is 90% sure its A YS1 ....

All b series parts are interchangeable (sp?)

it will fit in the LS the LS is a YS1, but a USDM YS1

JUST to clarify the LSD off A JDM Y1 factory LSD tranny,will fit a USDM 93 integra LS (YS1)tranny.

if you are asking if the LSD from the Y1 will work in the YS1, then I'm not sure, I do know you can replace a YS1 with a Y1 with not problems.

im pretty sure all cable b series trannies are interchangable. the same goes for all b series hydro. so if the diff is from a cable then you should be ok

b-series hydro are NOT. b16/ls share the same ring gear size, while gsr/itr/ctr share a different ring gear.

i do not know about cable, however... but keep this info in mind.

From what I've seen, the cable and hydro internals are the same with their respective label... the clutch actuation is the only thing different.
