Is the axle different from a normal 97 EX axle because of the swap? its my friends car and he paid a shop to do the swap but im in school trying to become a mechanic so I told him for 20$ ill just do the axle swap since ive got nothing better to do. Anyone feel like hooking me up with a guide? should I just replace the boot or pull the entire axle?

Pull the entire axle, changing the boot won't really do any good, the axle will just go bad further down the road.
Also your friend needs a gsr axle (94-01 pick a year) the ex axle will not be the same because of the swap. So when you order the axle order it for like a 1995 integra gsr. You can get one from an axle reman place for prolly 80-100 bucks, new they are about 200 (each) |
