whats up im new here and ive got a problem

I recently purchased a 99 LS block, auto ls tranny and p75 ecu, and I have a 96 civic auto, and the main problems were having now is the wiring, and im beggining to think it may be easier to find a complete 5-speed swap instead, my friend has the pressure plate, clutch and master cylinder, and parts for inside pedal and such, but I was told that if I did that I would also have to find a new ecu since the p75 wouldnt work, is this true? if so which would be the best direction to take ?
